Peakly home

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Peakly (the “Service”) collects, uses, stores, shares, or otherwise processes personal information on iOS and Android. The Service publishes this policy in accordance with Article 30 of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act.

1. Purposes of processing

The Service may process personal information to provide medication logs, goals, tasks, and routines; analyze and visualize medication patterns, condition, and activity data; provide widgets, reports, statistics, backup, and restore; maintain sign-in and cloud connections; confirm paid-subscription status; respond to support and bug reports; improve quality, analytics, and stability; and provide and measure advertising for free users.

2. Information processed

The Service processes only the minimum information needed for its features.

2.1 Information you enter

Medication records (medicine name, dosage, and time), goals, tasks, routines, notes, and check-ins are processed to provide and visualize Service features. They are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Optional health information

With your permission, the Service may read sleep duration, heart rate, step and activity data, and workout records from Apple HealthKit on iOS or Health Connect on Android where available. This information is used for condition summaries, analysis, reports, and visualizations and is generally processed locally on your device. It is not normally stored on a separate server operated by us. If you include health information in a support request or bug report, that information may be sent to an external support system to handle your request.

2.3 Optional sign-in and cloud information

Apple sign-in may provide your name, email address, and Apple account identifier. The Service may store a display name and account identifier locally to maintain sign-in. Google sign-in or connection may provide your email address and Google account information; the Service may store the account email and connection state as needed for Google Drive backup. This information is processed locally or within the platform connection you choose for sign-in, backup, restore, and identification.

2.4 Subscription and payment information

The Service processes subscription status, product identifiers, and information needed to verify a purchase or expiration through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. We do not directly collect or store payment card or bank-account details.

2.5 Advertising and analytics

Free users may receive ads through third-party SDKs such as Google AdMob. Depending on platform settings, advertising identifiers such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android may be processed to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. Analytics services such as Firebase Analytics may process app events, device information, app version, and usage statistics to improve the Service, analyze errors, and improve usability. Processing follows App Tracking Transparency on iOS and applicable device and Google settings on Android. Some ads may not be shown to paid subscribers.

2.6 Optional support and bug-report information

If you contact support, the Service may process the subject and content of your request, a reply email address if provided, device model, operating-system and app versions, diagnostics, an identifier for vendor on iOS or ANDROID_ID on Android, and attachments such as screenshots. This information is received and processed through an external support system such as Google Apps Script for customer support, error analysis, and Service improvement.

3. Retention

Personal information is retained until its processing purpose is fulfilled. Locally stored data may remain until you delete it or remove the app. Backups may remain in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive until you delete them or disable backup, subject to the relevant platform’s policies. Support and bug-report data is deleted within a reasonable period after resolution unless it must be retained for disputes, follow-up, or legal obligations. Advertising and analytics providers may retain data under their own policies.

4. Third-party processing

We do not ordinarily sell or provide your personal information to third parties. Depending on features you choose and platform requirements, Apple may process information for Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, iCloud, and HealthKit, and Google may process information for Google sign-in, Google Play payments, Google Drive backup, AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and support processing.

5. Service providers

The Service may use Google AdMob for advertising and measurement; Firebase Analytics for usage analytics and quality improvement; Google Apps Script or similar services for support and bug reports; and Apple or Google platforms for sign-in, payments, backup, and health-data connections. Their processing is governed by their respective policies.

6. Your rights and choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. You can delete app data using reset features or by removing the app. Cloud backups can remain after app deletion and must be removed through iCloud, Google Drive, or the app’s backup management. You can revoke HealthKit, notifications, ATT, Health Connect, and advertising-related permissions in device settings. To request deletion of support records or other personal information, contact us below; after verifying the request, we will act without undue delay as permitted by law.

7. Security

We seek to follow iOS and Android security guidance, apply least-privilege access, process sensitive information locally where possible, use platform security APIs, and maintain current security updates and libraries.
